Cemita is a Mexican bread name of Arabic (via Spanish) origin meaning "fine-flour bread". It comes from Spanish acemita (bran bread), from Arabic samīd (fine white flour). It is pronounced seh-MEE-tah, and it is most associated with Puebla.
