What Chilpachole means
Chilpachole is a Mexican soup or stew name of Nahuatl origin meaning "tangled chile stew". It is built from chīlli (chile) and patzolli (tangled, matted). It is pronounced cheel-pah-CHOH-leh, and it is most associated with Veracruz.
